Jouichirou Yukihira is the father of Souma Yukihira. Formerly known as Jouichirou Saiba (�波 城一郎) he was a 69th Tootsuki Generation student, a former resident of the Polar Star Dormitory, and a previous 2nd seat of the Elite Ten Council. For unknown reasons he did not graduate from Tootsuki Culinary Academy, but Jouichirou still became a world famous chef before settling down in Sumiredouri Shopping District to open his own restaurant, Restaurant Yukihira.
